SUPERVISION

Reflecting and being able to see things from another perspective is, in many professional fields, an important attitude for good performance. In supervision processes, personal autonomy is strengthened, and alternative courses of action are developed in the professional realm. Supervision fosters each individual's personal and professional skills and promotes the process of development and reflection.

Questions that may arise before deciding on supervision

Individual supervision

«I don't see a solution. I'm going around in circles with my situation, but how can I clarify my ideas?»

«It would be great to talk to someone and calmly reflect on my current work situation!»

«Sometimes I really doubt what I do and how I do it, I need someone to advise me on some matters.»

Group supervision

«It would be interesting to have a shared meeting space with other professionals in similar positions to mine to jointly address a specific topic and develop collective solutions.»

Team supervision

«We are a team working under a lot of tension, and no one talks about it at work.»

«Here, everyone does whatever they want; we need to clarify many issues. There is a bad atmosphere due to conflicts and misunderstandings. There is almost no communication anymore.»

After analyzing the current situation, we define with the client the most suitable form for the supervision process. We accompany them in their process of change and development. In the first meeting, we establish with the client the conditions, objectives, duration, and contents of the supervision.

Our philosophy aims to offer an experimental space that promotes, from a humanistic and integrative line of personality, the development of the person in their professional environment. We believe that each person has the ability to reflect, improve their skills, and find solutions.

Our objectives are:

  1. conflict prevention
  2. increasing well-being at work
  3. improving the quality of work relationships through a follow-up process

We understand supervision as the reflection on daily tasks. Along with the idea of a learning model based on communication fundamentals, during the supervision sessions, we work with different methodologies according to our training line. These lines are: “transactional analysis” and “systems analysis.”

From our professional ethics, we understand supervision as a process of follow-up and advice. In the first session, we work with the group to specify the specific objectives of the supervision and also agree on the work period. To achieve beneficial results, we find it important, on one hand, to maintain equidistance between supervisor and supervisee, while never forgetting, on the other hand, the possibly changing work environment in which both operate.

That is why we consider that a supervision process has what every process requires:

  • a beginning and an end
  • a limited time frame, and
  • variable characteristics that will be considered during the process.

We work according to the team's needs on a general topic, a conflict case, or a case of the user themselves.

We offer group supervision, team supervision, and individual supervision.
